WHO WE ARE

ROWING FOR EVERYONE ON THE COLUMBIA

Tri-Cities Rowing Association is a service-oriented rowing community. Our mission is to offer all people — regardless of their background — in Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland an opportunity to participate in a sport that connects individuals to themselves, their neighbors, and their environment. We're a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run by volunteers who'd rather be on the water.

ACCESS

Rowing for all people, regardless of background. Scholarships, loaner gear, and no-experience-needed programs keep the dock open to everyone.

COMMUNITY

Three cities, one crew. We show up for each other on the water and off — boat washes, fundraisers, and a lot of shared sunrises.

STEWARDSHIP

The Columbia is our home water. We row it, we clean it, and we teach every new rower to respect it.

Our boathouse sits at Howard Amon Park in Richland, launching onto a wide, protected stretch of the Columbia River — flat water most mornings and room for a full 2,000m piece.

We row when it's safe. Coaches make the final call at the dock, but here's what we watch:

Wind: We stay ashore above 12 mph sustained

Water temp: Below 50°F: coached boats + safety launch only
Far shore
Visibility: Fog delay until we can see the far shore

Daylight: Launch no earlier than 30 min before sunrise
